Gennady Krasnikov participates in the work of RF President’s Council for science, technology and education

At the session the members of the Council considered results of their work on adjudgement of the State Award of Russian Federation in the field of science and technology for 2006. The candidates who have gained as a result of the secret vote no less than two thirds of the votes of the Council members, those present at session, will be recommended to the President of Russia for the State Award in the field of science and technology for 2006.

It should be reminded that in December 2006, General Director of JSC Mikron Gennady Krasnikov by the Decree of the RF President Vladimir Putin was entered into the board of presidential Council for science, technology and education. The Council works out recommendations to the President for definition of priorities for the state scientific, technical and innovation policy, state policy in education, and measures directed at their realization.

By the end of the Council session Gennady Krasnikov said: "Encouragement of scientists by State awards for outstanding achievements and discoveries is an important step for promotion and support of innovation activity in the country".
