Gennady Krasnikov was born on the 30th of April, 1958 in Tambov. In 1981, Krasnikov graduated from the Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology (Technical University) majoring in Automatics and Electronics. Mr Krasnikov holds a doctorate of Engineering Science and is a Full member of the Russian Academy of Science. Since 2006, he has been a member of the Presidential Council for Science, Technologies and Education.
