Ecological Policy

The overall objective of JSC Mikron in the field of environmental protection is the achievement of necessary ecological standards in the process of realization of our basic activity aimed at meeting the needs of the customers in the high-quality integrated circuits.

Main principles of ecological policy:

- recognition that ecological management is included in the list of the highest general priorities of the enterprise;

- continuous upgrading of ecological management system(EMS);

- planning and monitoring ecological activity parameters of the enterprise;

- allocation of necessary resources for realization of ecological policy and upgrading EMS.

JSC Mikron management and personnel take the following obligations:

- to follow the current nature protection legislation and fulfill the requirements on environmental protection stipulated in the statutory documents;

- to aspire not to exceed the specifications on pollution level of the environment stipulated by authorized bodies;

- to check and estimate the impact of each new activity, new products and processes on the environment prior to their introduction; to take all necessary and economically justified measures in order to prevent or minimize negative impact on the environment;

- to introduce technologies which ensure saving of power and resources and reduce impact on the environment;

- to use and maintain the equipment in the safe condition in order to prevent possible failures leading to significant ecological consequences;

- to train and upgrade qualification of the enterprise personnel on continuous basis in order to increase the level of knowledge and awareness on the issues of environment protection;

- to inform personnel and other interested parties on the activities in the field of environmental protection.
